C-Cat 48

This beautiful design comes from the hand of Francois Perus! Powerful lines and daggerboards that promise a lot of speed and a beautiful interior with all the comfort one could wish for. Whether the C-Cat 48 is used for a weekend away or to live on board, it is all possible!

On the C-Cat 48 three interior options are available;

The standard owner’s version with 2 equal hulls with large double bed in the back and a very large bathroom in the front and lots of cupboard space in between.

Or the Club version with the owners hull to starboard with a large bed in the rear and a large bathroom in the front and a hull on the port side with a spacious sleeping cabin at the front and back and a spacious bathroom in between.

Or the charter version with 2 equal hulls with a spacious sleeping cabin at the front and at the back and a spacious bathroom in between.

The saloon on the bridge deck between the hulls has a large dining area, chart table with optional steering position and a large U-shaped kitchen.
As the saloon inside and the cockpit outside are on the same level, the indoor and outdoor space can easily be pulled together to form one large space that, if desired, can be protected against the elements by the cockpit enclosure.

Due to the vacuum injection of the laminate with epoxy and vinylester resin and the use of carbon at the points where great forces are applied, a very light and rigid construction has been created, it is also possible to build the C-Cat 48 entirely from carbon making it even lighter.

It has been mentioned before, our C-Cats are fast. Speed is also safety, it is also easier to avoid or keep up with weather systems on long trips. But there is more security; both bows have a so-called “crash box” at the very front. This ensures that when hitting a hard object that water does not immediately run through the entire boat, but that keeps the damage in one place. In fact, there are 4 airtight compartments, making the C-Cat 48
even unsinkable! The daggerboards have fracture surfaces so that they could shear off under water in a (very) hard collision without further damaging the hull. We do everything for a comfortable and safe feeling on board!

The C-Catamaran yard is a relatively small yard, so we are flexible to accommodate owner’s wishes. Chartering or living on board gives you other wishes, just indicate them and we will make your C-Cat exactly the way you want it!
